People & Performance

Implementing a New Organisational Structure

Some general observations of People & Performance: a dynamic and flexible consultancy characterised by being down-to-earth and able to produce tailor-made solutions that meet our needs.

I had previously met a couple of the directors of People & Performance and someone in my network had spoken highly of them. I had no doubts that they were the right company for the job.

We were about to implement a new matrix organisation in a part of one of our divisions and we hired People & Performance to help us arrange a two-day kick-off-meeting. The purpose was to ensure that we got off on the right foot and that we established a common perception of cross-organisational cooperation. We had a really good result, and in the two days we really turned everything inside-out. On the first day the leaders worked with implementation and understanding of the reasons for the new structure and strategy. On the second day all 80 leaders and employees worked with the strategy and the cross-organisational cooperation.

We played the game of Leadout with mixed participants from different departments. The game gave a lot of insight as it quickly became obvious that you could not succeed on your own, but needed colleagues, other skills and other departments to finish the job. The game proved to the participants that good cooperation skills are necessary to be successful in our work. We then gathered together the new departments and gave them the opportunity to work on their relationships.

The days were planned with an excellent interplay of theoretical and practical work that could be immediately transferred to our daily work lives. Without my asking, participants have afterwards told me that they really use the tools they were taught so I can say without hesitation that People & Performance have left a lasting footprint on our organisation.
