On March 5 2009, People & Performance arranged a workshop on Focus Leadership – a new leadership concept that revolves around best practice in leadership in times of turbulence. Focus Leadership offers a variety of practical tools as well as insights from 10 years of research into the leadership measures that worked best in earlier recessions and crises from Harvard, Insead, McKinsey, Booz & co., BCG, A.T.Kearney and others. The workshop was attended by a large number of Danish business leaders.
The practical tools are used to understand turbulence, assess uncertainty, adjust strategy and objectives, reduce complexity, and develop performance power; all the elements that have proven themselves to have a direct and positive impact on success in turbulent times.
