Build up your defences so you won’t get caught in the future!

The prediction and development of performance are decisive parameters for companies. The trick is to be able to manoeuvre quickly and use the growth potential of current and future employees.
The average agenda of a management team or a board of directors will include an item about successfully maintaining and improving competitive capacity – and in the wake of the exhausting financial crisis that question has only been accentuated.
In the wake of the crisis
Now we are moving into smoother water, but the crisis has given rise to new questions. Will there be a new crisis? If so, how do we protect ourselves from its consequences? What made us survive the last crisis? And how do we do more than just survive the next crisis?
The current situation demands an ability to attract and maintain the finest competencies. But the demand is also there to develop those highly talented current employees so that they get even more skilled. A positive thing about the crisis is that it has highlighted the fact that the right employees are a crucial asset when companies pursue their strategic objectives.
The use of tests in recruitment and development processes helps in minimising the risk of engaging the wrong people and in crystallising the exact development requirements, as well as the potentials for improvement. This should lead to strong and skilled employees who can stave off any new crisis.
