The purpose of developing people and teams is to pave the way for better results. The need for training often arises when a team is changed or demands to team performance are altered.
Who
The training of a work team, a department or a project team has a quite different impact than traditional training because tools, methods and design can be fitted to the current context of the team. Furthermore, involvement by everybody throughout the process means that they feel more committed, because they sign off arrangements and actions in the process.
What
Using business objectives and team qualifications as the base, we plan a process that addresses the identified challenges. All team members are involved in the process, which means that the barriers to implementation are often eliminated as the people who are to effect the changes also are the people who discuss the challenges facing the team (be it business objectives not met, leadership or cooperation). Change and implementation begin during training as you create a common picture, discuss the things that a busy workday does not leave time for, and develop team skills that relate to the business challenges.
