HR Strategy

The company strategy should be implemented through HR activities

An HR strategy is based on the company strategy. Its purpose is to ensure that all HR initiatives and activities are rooted in the company strategy so that they play an active and direct role in implementing it.

Who
HR departments frequently find that the productiveness of their role is questioned; and some organisations only view HR an added expense. Often the reason for this is that the department is not able to explain clearly and unambiguously the connection between professional HR work and the company strategy.

What
We base our process planning on the company strategy, and may add an analysis of organisational needs such as the leading of employees, personal development and the initiatives, activities and tools that are experienced by users that add value to their everyday work. The outcome is a solid and operational HR strategy that has its roots in the company strategy, is approved by the executive management team, and is easy to communicate – and gone is the perception of HR as an expensive overhead.
