Oceania

What should be put aside when other important areas need to be focused on?

Oceania is a learning game about focusing – when some challenges and tasks are given higher priority, others must be moved down the list. Priority lists can be to-do-lists, but they can also be rankings of tasks that must be done to achieve the objective, or rankings of employees, customers etc. If the list only sets out the top 10 then they do not serve the purpose of disconnecting employees and tasks when refocusing is required. Therefore, disconnection lists are important as they ensure a qualitative prioritisation. The game is about that dilemma.

Who
The game will help and strengthen the leader who is not able to make a connection between objectives and tasks or who is not able to rank tasks so that the ones adding most value to the team and the company are dealt with first. In the game leaders are often playing coaches who need to be on the operational and the leadership field at the same time. To do that, operational tasks must be prioritised in order to make room for the leadership to be performed.

What
Oceania offers you a fictional world where you can rank your employees or various crucial issues for your organisation. It is a practical approach to ranking tasks and employees.
