Good change management in connection with mergers, acquisitions or large-scale restructuring of organisations is crucial in keeping key staff members on board and avoiding a decrease in productivity. The element of change is often underestimated, and the people who drive the change process often work under severe pressure. Reaction and resistance from organisation members are, therefore, often dealt with too late and in an insufficient way.
Who
We have experience in offering strategic advice to executive teams, boards of directors, capital and investment funds as well as in the practical development of change and communication plans. Furthermore, we are experienced in participating in steering groups that manage large-scale changes. We also have a solid background in the training of change agents.
What
If you really want to benefit from a merger or an acquisition, the change should not be managed, but facilitated. To do that you must build up your change capacity well in advance. The process should be centred around a change plan involving active communication control which forms the foundation for the change agents so that they can exert their influence properly on the affected parts of the organisation.
